I hope before we make a selection that the powers-that-be do one thing.
Check out this list:
Spurrier NC
Saban NC
Meyer NC
Fulmer NC
Riecht
Tubberville
And then put your candidate up against that list and ask yourself............can our new guy compete with these guys in recruiting and in games week in and week out. Some names being bantered about it appears would be in way over there heads with this bunch.

Yea, don't go for unknowns like we did for this guy Nick Saban in 2000, and Paul Dietzel in 1955. You'll never get anywhere unless you hire a coach who's well known.
