Who I feel most sorry for.

Not O. Not Alleva. Not even the fans or the players.
But Steve E himself. The guy is a loyal LSU alum who wants nothing more than to be on the staff and recruit. Yet now he’s allegedly being forced into a position he never wanted - opening himself and the entire coaching staff up to replacement. Talk about fricking pressure. It’s almost like promoting a mid-management lifer to the c-suite with zero regard for the company of that guys career and saying “good luck”

Yep. Truly a good guy being put in a bad position by Orgeron.
Orgeron is a terrible leader. The only thing saving him is Aranda already being here. There is no doubt in my mind he would have fricked up the defense side of the ball if not. If this is his OC choice who would he have brought in on defense if aranda left?

Totally agree. He is an LSU guy and an extremely underrated recruiter. This is a travesty if it happens because O won't last and a new coach might get rid of a guy he shouldn't.
