Depends if they’re currently under contract somewhere else. If LSU is hiring Davis, then I’d imagine it would be once NFL season ends next week. Others could fall after bowl games, loss in playoffs. Some don’t want their names out that they’re interviewing during the season still.

Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a “typical” timeline. Too many variables with each situation.
