What's your opinion on him? What's the consensus on him?

He can develop DE's and CB. If the CB's can hold their own on the island the defense is great. If the CB's can't our defense sucks. He's not a good recruiter but he gets the best out of his players. He's very intense and is more of a "tough love" coach. He's a quote machine. He can't coach zone defense but his man to man bump and run is his bread and butter.Anything else rocket?

John Thompson is at Ole Miss and he is one of Nutt's past hires. Ole Miss has protected him too.

Everyone probably remembers that week that he served as LSU's DC under Saban.

I'd think Nutt would be happy with Thompson. No need to fight admin over this choice.

Herring, Markuson and Rocker are the only three Arkansas coaches that would be interesting hires. These three guys deserve more OVERALL talent than they have been coaching.

FYI - Herring's son is a redshirt freshman LB at Auburn.

What's the consensus on Rocker? Is he a good coach?

Was Will Herring related to Reggie?

Its his son. Tracy Rocker is the dline coach. I'm impressed with him as a coach. I think he holds the sack record at Auburn. not 100% sure.

Never knew that. Guess Reggie removed himself from this recruiting situation.

Never could understand why Arkansas fans were cutting him all this slack for sending his son to Auburn?

I like Rocker, Marksuon and Herring. They could fit in on a bunch of staffs in the SEC. Rocker has had the least talent to work with. He certainly deserves better.

Will isn't Reggies son. I wonder if they are related.

Reggie's son is Adam Herring.

Reggie was a LB at Florida State.

Hell, I was the one that thought Auburn played at BR next year. Forgot that last minute catch this year

Everyone has their moments!
