Well, it looks like we both won.

We keep Jimbo. You get one heckuva coach in Herman. In a couple of years we may be sorry that you didn't take Jimbo and let us get Herman.

And, another things this proves: I came here telling y'all I had no inside information, that I knew nothing. I was speculating that Jimbo was leaving for LSU.

But, as with most of my coaching carousel speculations, I was wrong.

I have an idea what went on behind the scenes, but I'm probably wrong about that as well.

Once again, congrats. The more I hear and read about Herman, the more I like him. (The fact that he coached with Meyer being the exception.)
