Someone posted that scarbrough said so and footballscoop.com also reported he was staying. Only other name mentioned for DB's was Tony Hughes and maybe corey raymond

heard he was a great recruiter but someone on here said he wasnt a great position coach and i think we need that in general but especially with our secondary

he is a solid position coach. He was on the staff at La. Tech befoe Ole Miss.

He was at Tech but their DBs were usually pretty good for what he had to work with.

Rivals named him a top 25 recruiter in 2006.

let Hughes coach LBs since Chavis will really be coaching that anyway and let him focus on recruiting. he's coached LBs in the past
