Glad to see some LSU fans gave come around to what Bama fans were saying when y'all were saying Texas was going to money whip Saban.
It's not about how much money a school could pay, it's how much they are willing to pay.
Texas is a big time football school but they also have this weird view of themselves as also being above all us southern football factory, university in name only institutions.
Texas may have more money they could pay than LSU but I would bet anything the money Texas is willing to pay can be matched by LSU.
I could pay $1,000 for a Diet Coke. Doesn't mean I'm willing to pay $1,000 for a Diet Coke.
If Herman chooses UT or USC or ND over LSU, it won't be because LSU got money whipped.

I never though Saban would leave. I knew Bama could and would match whatever UTa would pay. Same situation we have now.
