Ok,for all the hate that LSU fans have had for Tommy Tubberville over the years up until this one (i remember the posts after the Dorsey Chop Block)Why would you want Tubby, who has been an extremely hated man at LSU) and not Saban (who has also been an extremely hated man...with a NC ring)

Look on the bright side. If Tubby comes to LSUmaybe some of the calls will start going LSU's way, becasue Auburn has certainly screwed y'all in the past when it comes to the refs. maybe Tubbs knows them.

It is not a WANT thing, personally IMO, I think it is more realistic that between Tubby and Saban, Tubby will be the one that takes it. Hard to believe Saban will come back, Tubby leaves, Saban has the State of AL locked up this year and then likely after that and we then know follows, he knows this and he is in Louisiana taking advantage of the same situation with Miles. I see Tubby as looking to leave and Sexton setting a bidding war between Arkie and LSU and LSU, I would think would be the more desirable in terms of resources, recruiting, you name it. The silver lining in all of this is that will all come in focus in the next few days.

A. They are both repped by Sexton, &
2. I don't like either of them very much. Spurrier would be preferable over either, for me, and that's saying alot.

I find it interesting that 3 of most 4 coveted coaches on this board have a bad history with LSU(Saban?) and yet people on this board want one guy over the other, usually because they hate the other one.
1. Saban...Miami and BAMA. Coonass?
2. Tubberville...don't think I need to explain this one
3. Spurrier....58-3 in DV at night. Just one of many times he poured it on LSU

Both of 'em can kiss my arse. Tubby has disrespected LSU year after year. I dont want that shite here. I would be embarassed if we went to another school and stomped on their logo when we came out. Tubby is Bush league. Saban is a mediocre coach. He had one great year at LSU where he backed into the NC game. I dont see why people thinks he walked on water. They can go somewhere else.

I want a good coach and any of those fit the bill.
I don't see Spurrier coming though, to old and USC is where old coaches go to die.
Saban or Tubbs is more likely but still a huge stretch. Probably still looking at a Chris Peterson type.

your looking to much at win loss record with Saban and not what he did for the program. He picked up where Dinardo left off with putting the facilities on par for recruiting and making LSU commit to success. that is more his legacy here than anything else, he completed the turn around.
