Are we allowed to start talking to him or is it too soon?

I’m not sure if he’s better than Raymond or Chevis, but I’ll take any of the 3

i disagree i think if you look at stats robinson is far superior. ME personally i hire robinson as DBS coach hire raymond as a analyst go let him recruit. Raymond doesnt have a job he will take anything,

I dont understand your rebuttle with all due respect Jim. Saban and muschamp gets them in the door but to develope and improve each kid falls on the coach. Raymond had miles and o .Who both won nattys

He’s better than both by almost any standard (recruiting, coaching).

Only thing he doesn’t have is the Louisiana ties you get from CR.

Trob was my college DB coach. He is a great coach and even better person. I don't know if he's every worked with safeties primarily but if they could somehow pair him with Raymond that would be nuclear.

And Corey Raymond has spent damn near his entire career in the state of Louisiana. He spent '03 (New Iberia HS) to '08 in LA. Then went to Urah for 2 yrs, Nebraska for 1, before coming back to LSU in 2012. And outside those few seasons and the last 2 seasons with Sun Belt Billy in Florida (still got that LA connection with Napier), he's been in LA for his entire career.

So he may be a good coach for LSU, but overall, T-Rob is a superior defensive coach. He learned to coach defense with some guys who are elite defensive coaches.
