Off the top of my head I can think of 2 seasons since 2013 where LSU had an offense up to the standard of what should be an LSU offense, 2013 and 2019.
With the talent in state, LSU needs an offensive coach and ride the ebbs and flows of defense. LSU likes to overpay and reset the market for all its coaches so it shouldn't be hard to overpay for a DC every few years.
