I know it's already been discussed, but good news like this needs to be shared again! Blast all the younger coaches you want(Campbell,Aranda,Napier) ect., but this is the guy that would plant us firmly in 10 years of mediocrity. He is the most over-rated coach in CFB. Glad ol' Jimbo IS NOT the dumbest human...that would've been bad news for Tiger fans.

The thing about Jimbo at A&M is that their fan base is content with continual 3-4 losses a year. Now he will have a recruiting class that he can use for another 2-3 years to say that they're almost to a national title.

The other thing is that Jimbo would almost certainly be able to be "mediocre" for several years w/o repercussion where if we hire a younger, less experienced/expensive coach, we can re-boot(pun intended) quicker if things go south. I'm not sure who of the guys floating around on this board would be the best hire. The one thing I am confident in is Jimbo would probably be the most painful in 3-4 years. The only way to make Jimbo fit at LSU is for the LSU fanbase to become complacent and accept the meh of a Fisher program.
