08 did disappoint me some, because I can remember Lee taking a few shots. but actually, I did the math recently and 08's QBs got sacked less per pass play than any of the last 4 yrs, and it wasn't that close. I think they gave up a sack every 18 plays or so and the next best yr was 07 who gave up a sack every 15. they held up well with 2 freshman QBs.

Hiring of Stud would be a slap in the face. Les needs to hit a HR with hire, elevating the guy who has been a key component of an offense that has sucked goat balls for 2 plus years is a bad choice.

i think what he is saying is when you have an all s.e.c. r.b., not many sacks, and rush for 300 yrds in your bowl game. that usually isn't a reflection of bad o-line play.
