Status of Negotiations - Disinformation

It is clear that there is a fair amount of disinformation being spread. What I'm not clear on is how much is coming from (a) LSU to (1) not kill a deal and (2) create uncertainty for the main candidate (here Jimbo); (b) one or more of the candidates; (c) random posters to mess with people. One thing is clear is that if after all of the chaos of the prior week if we don't come away with a HR hire (right now Jimbo or Herman), LSU needs to move on from Alleva. Fedora or Gundy may delay the decision for a while but if he hires O or a clear second-tier coach he should be replaced.

I hope Alleva realizes this.
