He needs to understand what's happened to LSU in the last few years--and why the team need needs a proven offensive-minded HC to compliment Aranda. A well paid DL coach and recruiting in LA isn't a bad life.

If he really wanted to be a head coach he could have gone to Nicolls or UCF and proven he can coach for 2-3 years before moving up in class.
