They could use him today. Losing to Wyoming is a fricking joke. Fulmer is a quitter.

could be he's not as good with college kids and recruiting as he is with pro players in the pros.

Maybe, but c'mon be honest, if Gruden does go to Tenn (and I still can't believe this has legs), you're pretty sure he'll do well.

I have never really pictured him as a college coach and I am not sure if it is the right fit for him. He may do okay, but I just do not see him being a great recruiter.

Gruden is not coming. Neither is Cowher, Davis, or the Bear.

Heard it's pretty much a done deal. Vols next coach will be Texas Tech's Coach Leach.

There is no doubt in my mind that Gruden could be a great recruiter. A good college coach understands that recruiting is the lifeblood of running a successful college program. Gruden is a guy who is obviously extremely motivated, and if he put his efforts into recruiting, the sky is the limit for him.

I had the opportunity to speak with him at the Senior Bowl a couple of years ago, and his personality is magnetic. Young, impressionable kids would flock to this guy. He's alot like Saban, just less of a prick and more charismatic. Not to mention, he could flash his Super Bowl ring for more street cred.

ESPN ticker says, Gruden "says not Interested in Tennessee job or any other college job, he is an NFL guy, always his dream to coach in the NFL"
