So if Strong goes to Texas, and Boom came from Texas ...

... will Gator fans regret not hiring Strong when they had the chance, or will they blame that on Urbie sticking around another year or Foley allowing Urbie to stick around another year?..... or whatever, so much drama. (Eta: stop and think about it, Texas and UF basically traded coaches in waiting.)

Not convinced Strong is that great of a coach - but we'll see.

The bigger recent mistake still stands ... Arkie letting Gus go to Auburn and instead hiring BB.

Strange happenings in the SEC coaching hiring departments lately.

Strong would not go back to UF (roadgator is more knowledgable on the details than I am) but he isn't exactly a fan of UF right now.

I love Strong. But I don't think he's that good of a head coach. Time will tell I suppose.

At least he actually built up a program and wasn't given a job only because he was a coach in waiting at a top tier University.
