Because I cant imagine that the best college coach of all time, is simply going to allow his OC to make a lateral move within his own division?

Not up to him. Saban put this plan in motion at the beginning of the year when he didn't extend Kiffin's contract and he hired Sark as a consultant. Now that Kiffin is considering LSU Saban is doing his best to steer Kiffin away from LSU that is why he publicly stated that Kiffin is ready for a HC job in the middle of the SEC championship week. One thing everyone knows is Saban hates all distractions so not to nip it in the bud and instead extrapolate on Kiffin being ready for a HC gig proves he doesn't want Kiffin at LSU!!!!

"its up to coach now" = Saban hasn't expressed an interest in re-signing me

OTHERWISE, Kiffin would have said, "its up to ME", because there is an offer on the table. And since LK didn't say that, its a fact, not an opinion

FACT: there is no current offer on the table for Kiffin to return as Bama OC

You keep saying fact, but all of that is your opinion. Your guess. You have no idea if any of that is fact.

Sabin is smart. He knows that Kiffin will be a head coach . He wants to make sure he gets a head-coaching job so he will not be an offensive Coordinator with another SEC team
