I haven't read every thread so this may have been covered already.
My questions are whether alleva or anyone, exlained why orgeron was picked today (apparently at 5:30 am) and did that sob literally not interview anyone other than the three discussed here ad nauseam?
That's my biggest gripe. You do who knows what for two months (actually since last season he should have been prepared) and you just seemingly panic for no reason? I'd be cool if o ended up the guy but wtf?

There was no deadline because there was no search. Only a show put on for the fans to hide the fact that their plan the entire time was to hire Orgeron.

Hermans agent (who will most likely be fired) told alleva after there was a handshake agreement that they wanted to wait to see what Texas would do (for a bid war). This I don't believe had anything to do with Herman. I think he is truly pissed off at his agent. He will have to start over in a few years.

Typically a coaching search firm is hired to provide a group of candidates - even Houston just hired a firm to find a replacement for Herman. Apparently, Joe has been sitting on his arse hoping for O to run the table over the past two months instead of doing his job.
