Agreed. He’s another Jimbo fisher but from a recruiting standpoint he’s gonna make it tough in Florida

Mario’s legit as a crooter but I like our chances with Napier who ppl say is like a pit bull when he sees a player he wants

We already have like 4-5 5 star players visiting this month for the 23 cycle.

More than that moron DM ever did .. lazy arse

Ah ok lol
Other than Peterson n Raymond, most of the staff are guys Billy’s crossed paths with during his time at Bama ect so I’d imagine being his first time coaching at a P5 job as the head man he wants mostly guys he knows n trusts.

Peterson is from the area and Raymond is.. well Fkn Raymond so some exceptions will be made.

It was actually explained sorta that way. One coaches the interior linemen the other coaches the tackles.

I may be mistaken but I want to say when Sale was at UL, Napier had some weird setup where Sale was the OC but Napier called the plays on gameday.

That’s not a weird set up. It’s pretty common actually

I really hope Woodward is right about Kelly, because that combo of Napier/Sale/Raymond would be very successful at LSU and were there for the taking (at a much lower price too).

Napier/Sale/Raymond

God that sounds like some O shite. The desire to have guys from LSU at LSU by lsu fans is wild to me.

I’d much rather work with Kelly/Davis/Wilson at this point.

It’s a new era of college football where loyalty and commitment are going to mean much more moving forward.

Who?
Scott?

I never said a lock. I said when Bama was rumored to be sniffing around that Saban has ways of fkn things up, looks like he did.
Oh well. On to plan B

Edit
Word is Scott agreed verbally to take the job for a million a season on a multi yr deal then started to seem like he was using it to get more elsewhere n Billy pulled the offer. Maybe other NFL teams looking for his services

I'd say call up Former Gator Marquand Manuel at Philly n offer the same deal.
See what happens

Billy has a presser scheduled for Friday, it'd be nice to have the staff done by then.

Napier has no ties to LSU. Raymond has already been successful here. Sale being an alum is a bonus sure but his big selling point is OL focus.

This staff could have been ours for much less than what we’re dishing out for Kelly and co. That means Woodward will judged on which staff can win championships.

If in the next 3 years UF pulls off a signature win against UGA and makes the playoff, goes 2-1 against us while we go 0-3 vs. Bama and don’t win the west he will be criticized for not bringing in these two and keeping Raymond.

I’m not saying I expect that to happen and certainly hope it doesn’t.
