What rational reason would Miles have to negotiate down the contract IF your hypothetical performance meltdown would occur? Guaranteed is guaranteed...Do you believe UM would have fired RichRod if the buyout was still $4.5, or worse yet, if RichRod had no buyout?
I just don't understand how Miles would be in a position to agree to reduce the contract...
