I’m sorry but it’s a meh hire
Campbell is a guy that everyone has convinced themselves is awesome. But is he going to recruit at the level PSU needs? Is he going to bring some innovative scheme?
It’s a high floor hire, that’s it. Woukd be shocked if he does any better than Franklin.

I've done the deep dive here before but don't remember it off hand. But it's something absurd like Campbell owning 40% of the 8 win seasons in the 100 years of Iowa State football.
