That caused me to do a double take as well. I looked into it more and saw another article that said it is believed he made a little over 2 mil last year. So that would seem to agree with the 1.6 mill. A few bonuses added on would take him right to 2 mil. That's surprisingly low.

Everything I can find has him in that 2 mil range. It's really surprising to me if true. Maybe his bonuses are massive or something, but he's been there a while and had some success to be making that little.

I don't think Meyer will be the coach. It's clear he won't work out in the NFL, but I'm sure he will take time away whenever he is done, or maybe even hang it up for good this time.
Anybody saying they wouldn't want Meyer is nuts though. His resume in college football is incredible. He's won every single place he's been, and he would win big at LSU.
