personally, i wish he'd be there for yrs to come, if the game was close in the 4th, coach O would always find a way to lose....

I think if your an Ole Miss fan theres no doubt he should have been fired. After 3 years he has won less than 3 years and the hotel scandal didn't help.

I think Coach O should have gotten a fourth year, because history shows that in the SEC, it generally takes four years to turn a shaky program around (see Rich Brooks and Sylvester Croom). But the fact is, losing to Mississippi State on the last day of the season to go winless in the SEC was the straw that broke the camel's back.

case in pt. was the Miss St. game. Coach O (and 8) was up 14-0, and the Rebs had controlled the game for 50 min. they faced a 4th & 1 near mid-field. they go for it, and of course don't make it.

St. scored six plays later, and a few minutes later it was ball game.
