It's not alone about annual salary. Les' contract has 4 years and Mack Brown and Saban are both at the $5 M + mark. He can get more money in annual and still not be the highest paid coach in his conference.
Length and terms of the contract will be what he'll get increases for.
I mean, we went from having the highest paid coordinator in the conference in Crowton at $469,000 to the next highest paid in Chavis at $700k in just one year. They all do it. It's part of the business.

How do you know his agent is not out there putting his name out. Lots of agents do that for their client.
I don't doubt Les is focused on the bowl. That's what agents, aka his crew, are for.
