okay, here is my question, as an LSU fan we see many of our coaches leaving LSU for their "opportunity." Saban, i guess Dumbo, Pelini, etc...

When will Urban Legend get the call for his NFL opportunity??

When will FL's DC, who has been there FOREVER, get his opportunity for a head coach position??

Richt is considered by some, (not me) a great coach, when will he get is call from an NFL team??

I just remember when Saban was at LSU, his name came up EVERY yr for an NFL job. Seems like every yr Bo was at LSU, the media was saying that he will get his head coaching chance. IF Richt and CUM are so great why aren't they getting offers from the NFL, like Saban was, and Pete Carroll??

I'm not saying they suck as coaches, just seems like everytime LSU gets good coaches the media puts their names in different jobs openings, and then 3-5 yrs later they are gone.

Saban had coaching experience in the nfl - neither Richt, Meyer nor Tubberville have such experience.

CUM is a college coach dude- he's really good at this level and his style wouldn't translate anywhere else

Agreed. After the Spurrier and Saban flops in the NFL, Petey might be the only guy the NFL looks at for a while. And that is only because he was a decent HC in the league already.
