This is Stricklin's third swing at a football coach after Mullen and Napier. Napier came across as a panic hire, swooping in before LSU could, even given Woody's penchant for swinging big. Florida is one of those places where there's a fit for a certain type of coach -- big offensive minds like Spurrier and Meyer. Defensive coaches -- Zook and Muschamp, for example -- have struggled. So to turn away from Kiffin and to tell Lincoln Riley no come across as mistakes. Only time will tell if Sumrall was the right choice.
