Soooo Orgeron is the favorite, at this moment, and at this moment, he's somewhat a fallback plan if Herman and Fisher say no.

It just doesn't make sense unless you factor in money.

I truly think that has a little to do with it.

That part was added after they sent it over to the Ponamsky headquarters to proofread and edit.

I agree it does come off as contradictory but if you strap on a pair of shrimp boots, have about 7 beers, crank up "Callin' Baton Rouge" and read it again it will make more sense.

Nov. 15th, so what dumbass!!!!

I look on ATVS every day, that was just posted yesterday! That leads more credence that it had to be approved before it was posted.

It is called comprehension!!! It wasn't extremely clear I will give you that but if you put the two bullet points together it is kind of like this;

If Orgeron wins the next 2 and we go to the Sugar Bowl then he has got the job. But if the search ended today, not after the next 2 games, then he thinks it would be Fisher's or Herman's if they want it, not Orgeron's. But if those two wait for the for those games to be played and LSU wins those two games and we go to the Sugar Bowl. Then even if Fisher or Herman say they want the job, it isn't their's anymore!

Spot on article. It's a two man race. O wins out he head coach. If not they go hard at Fisher, if doesn't work out fall back to O. Fedora is smokescreen. You've got 2 LSU bloodlines. You're not hiring Fedora over O or Jimbo.

I disagree, Oregeron will not be named head coach and they will hire gundy or fedora over him.. he has not earned the job..nor will he earn the job in the next 2-3 games..

Well you can disagree all you want, but the writing is on the wall - literally - whether anyone likes it or not it appears if Oeaux wins the next 2 games "and LSU will" then he is the next HC of LSU. Personally, I would rather Herman but at this point that is just a pipe dream.

What everyone should hope is that Herman takes his WHOLE staff with him to UT and Aranda stays at LSU.

will never happen, Alleva will not put his job on the line for a Coach for that job with the record that he has... period. behind closed doors, O doesnt have a prayer
