Very excited about the hire. Trying to find a source for data on ND's strength of schedule while Kelly was there or at least in recent years. I know it wasn't great but I also know it's a lot tougher than people think. Anyone have a good link?

I always appreciated their schedule being an independent. Sure Navy is on there but they went coast to coast. They put Texas, Ohio State and OU on their schedule during his tenure. Maybe sometimes they weren't good at the time but that's not NDs fault.

Their problem was they are definitely a tier down from Bama etc and felt it at the end of the year.

The only thing I can provide is their non traditional games during BK era was:

OU
FSU
UGA
Miami
Clemson

They always play like usc, stanford, Michigan, Michigan st, Purdue etc
