My thoughts on Woodward and the situation

I obviously wanted Lincoln Riley, but will hold out judgment of Scott Woodward until the hire is made.

You have to think with Oklahoma there was always a chance they could make the CFP and Riley wouldn’t come so that leads me to believe Scott has a few backup options. There is no way he had all his eggs in this basket

I’ve heard that Scott is always 10 steps ahead and I still believe that. Rarely has a power 5 head coach left for another school, so there is no way this is catching him by surprise without a viable backup option. (I don’t believe stoops or bill O’Brien are his backups)

If we hire mark stoops/O Brien, then I will believe he dropped the ball and botched this hire. But until then, I will reserve my judgment.
