My opinion on Orgeron, for what its worth

Might not be a bad thing - I didn't like the fact that the D-line coach would make more than the DC, even with the added (mostly meaningless) titles of "assistant head coach" and "recruiting coordinator".
I like The Hat, the Chief, and the Wizard, and don't think we need the Ogre Yaw Yaw with it for too steep a price and at risk of dividing the defense again. If there's one thing we've learned this year, it's that if you have two defensive coaches running the show, you really have NONE. You need one Chief, and we have him.
Now, Geaux Tigers - beat GaTech!

I agree that if O was going to be paid more than Chief, then that would have sent the wrong message to all the rest of the Assistants at LSU.
I mean, O may do great at Tennessee. But I think with Miles, Crowton, and Chavis, we can win another national championship. Harmony is worth alot to me.

It always puzzled me why this huge push to have Coach O at LSU. When he was at Ole Miss, the conventional wisdom of this board was that he was an idiot. But the conventional wisdom of this board shifted when it seemed he might come to LSU. Wait a minute... that's it!
