Flynn locked onto receivers a lot too even for a 5th year senior, he was definitely better at going through progressions than Lee, Hatch, and JJ.

Flynn also got 4 years of coaching from Jimbo Fisher, who is an excellent QB coach. His playcalling may have gotten stale, but he could develop QBs as was highly regarded for that.

JJ can be a great QB, but he needs a real QB coach, and Crowton is not that. He's a good play caller when he has a veteran/developed QB, but awful with undeveloped QBs.

Les needs to throw someone under the bus and I'm guessing Crowton

LM has one yr left on his contract (i think). i believe he has already been told this is a 1 yr fix, or they will all be unemployed. the best thing that could have happened to speed up this process is that porter got the memphis job. he will take a few assistants with him. miles will only have to "fire" a few guys to completely re-do the offensive staff. for the record, i would rather have porter still here.

That position was weakened with Arkansas win. If we beat, say, a Penn State in Cap One bowl, there will be no heat to throw anyone under the bus.

With Larry Porter and possibly DJ McCarthy being replaced, that will be enough for a good pr story.

It's not that I'm in favor of GC going or staying, just basing it on several factors, one of which is LM's loyalty to his coaches. Obviously, if he and GC are not in sync, then GC could be let go. But I think LM and GC are still in sync.

8-5 to 10-3 is no reason to fire OC. Just saying that from an overview of all the sport's pundits out there. That would create a negative story that would/could be bad for recruiting.

Most of your guesses about players, coaches, play calling and LSU football in general are suspect at best, and laughable at worst. so I wouldn't really put too much stock in your "best guess".

If Crowton stays, Miles just put a nail in his own coffin, and that would be a major gamble because if 2010 sucks, then Miles would be gone. If Miles makes OC changes now, he ensures himself another year, even with a subpar performance with no GC next year.

I have a feeling that crowton is saying and it could cost miles his job. They need someone who can bring these qbs along.
