Tubberville- had to 1st rd nfl rb's and a starting nfl qb and a good defense... had 3-5 loss seasons arond unimpressive undefeated one

Spurrier- he's a short term guy, but skill players will come from all over the state to play for him. i think he's got 5-7 years left in him. maybe longer at a place where he wont have to beg for top notch players. but will sos play a BLACK qb??? never really has except when forced to play newton....

Del Rio- i think he is an nfl guy... will he be able to recruit and coach??? dont know, wont suck to have him but def not star that sos would be instantly

Saban- really dont think this is even worth talking about...... i think he's actually burned too many bridges in La., but you never know.... id be conflicted over the hire, but at least he'd be living in his own shadow.....

Croweton- i think he'd be a bertman money guy, cheap... but i think when allowed to fully run his offense that the skill players would beat down his door to play for him. he has drop back and running qb schemes, just would need an aggressive d cor hire to seal deal

Pelini- he has run his course here, best for both parties to seperate, i think he'll do ok at nebraska, and we'll be fine w/o him......

Les Miles- - is a great guy, good coach, but i think he is our REBOUND chick.... he's never gonna be "the guy" and never fully accepted here, he'll do well back "home" and Michigan

just my opinions-

Only prob. with Crowton is that eventually other teams figure him out. His first yr anywhere is great, then he ends up losing his job.

that happened at BYU, but who can get real skill players to BYU??????

at La Tech they did great, for LA Tech..... and even in losses to big teams he still lit them up on offense.....

you may be right, but same can be said of alot of coaches......
