Just posting this so I can point back to it if it happens to be true.
We lose against Wisconsin, Alleva calls Sexton and asks if we have a shot at Herman. Sexton isn't Herman's agent but what's great is he is close enough to him to be able to set up the deal while also giving Herman deniability to say we haven't contacted him or his agent. Sexton tells Alleva he'll give us Herman for 5.5 + performance bonuses worth up to 8m. Catch is, we have to get his boy Jimbo a raise for better coordinators. Alleva and Herman perform the "secret handshake" and the good guys win!
Nick Saban also retires after this year.
