MSM and their grudge match

Good afternoon!

After reading all of the articles from MSM melting about CBK leaving Notre Dame, I have come to my conclusion about why they may be so revolted by the hire.

It has nothing to do with playoffs, players, or anything else. Our coaching search was a media driver for six weeks, especially for the past week. The only acceptable outcome of this search was for us to royally frick up and hire somebody like Bill O’Brien. That way, they could have followed up the circus search with damning articles throughout the offseason of how far LSU has fallen. Then they could follow all of that up with articles about how spoiled LSU fans are, and how we should appreciate what D rated hire we got.

Instead, we got an undeniably solid hire that eliminates all of those options. See, we weren’t the punchline for once. Feels good, man.
