Mlive has a lot of chatter about Brian Kelly Cincy Coach

There's a problem with Kelly if you believe that the Blue-blazer crowd at UM have a lot of influence and when you consider UM's arrogance.

Supposedly Kelly was a candidate for the Michigan State and Iowa State jobs. A lot of people believe that Michigan does not hire guys who were turned down by Michigan State and Iowa State. UM would never dream of hiring one of Tom Izzo's assistants regardless of the success he's had because of the Michigan State thing. I'm not saying it's impossible, but Kelly has one srike against him even before he gets an interview.

Second Michigan does not want to give the impression that they are like schools like Texas A&M, and Alabama and hire a hired gun who's job it is to win. The difference with Miles is that he's a Michigan Man who spent considerable time as an assistant. To Michigan they would not be soiling themselves by hiring one of their own away from LSU.
