good night. this thread is entertaining if for no other reason than being a study in human hearing and listening skills.

how could so many people listen to the same show and hear such different things?

Now they are going to do a segment on Miles on College Football Live.

They asked WHY the talk of Miles to Michigan won't die, because Miles won't let it.

Cam Cameron will NOT take the job.

Now they are talking about Miles....showing all of the interviews about him loving LSU and talking about Michigan now.

Griese is saying that he has better players at LSU than Michigan and that he will not get the salary at Michigan and why should he leave.

They are talking to Angelique Chengelis again, or rather showing her interview from Outside the Lines. She does not think it will happen

giving the timeline now of Carr leaving and the way the job opened and how Miles did the contract.

Extension includes bonus if LSU wins National Title and the incentives for wins.

Was suppose to have talked to Michigan on the 7th after signing the LSU deal on 6th

Griese thinks Michigan called for advice since he stated that he "loved Michigan". But that Michigan will NOT hire a coach until after the NCG.

Someone called the LSU AD and asked for a statement from Miles and there haven't been able to get in touch with them.

Basically same things we have heard earlier today.

I agree. But... Skip's reputation is on the line with this whole coaching circus. And, he is more than a little worried about LSU's focus leading up to the BCS title game.

I can understand his frustration with the Detroit media, but yes, he should just issue benign statements at this point and stop rambling about why LSU is better than Michigan, etc, etc.

Miles just released a statement that said he talked to Michigan, he is NOT a candidate and was helping with advice on a new coach.

Apparently Bonnette and Vincent are on top of this.

For the people who wanted a statement made, are y'all really satisfied with what they say? Even if Les himself comes out and says he's not going anywhere, will that really satisfy you?

What reports? Where did they come from and what sources did they have?

The one from Shreveport I think, I'll find a link. but see my post above, according to Miles, it is a moot point, it was to help with the coaching search.

According to the show MILES DID SAY THAT he wasn't leaving only helping with the search.

No, but Michigan coaching search is looking a bit like an episode of Office

for the first time Miles said he will be the coach of LSU next SEASON, not just next year. That pretty much ended the talk.

IF he leaves after this, he will have to sneak out of Louisiana!
