maybe he felt like he blew it a bit waiting around for a big job and turning down stuff like Maryland. I don't know. But he'll probably win there and get a pretty good job.
I'm not buying the conspiracy theories. But he may realize that he still won't have a competent QB at Auburn next year.

I wish him well if it is true. Go from HS coach to a head coach in college is a great gig even if he takes a pay cut. Good luck Gus

seems Gus just wanted to go back home. I think he will do well....already in with the Arkansas high schools. Good get for Arky St....Gus is just biding his time till the Arkansas job becomes open......eventually

I am really starting to believe his wife's youtube tirade caused him some difficult moments in the bigger interviews, or he was told look you need to go get your dues in at a smaller college? Who knows I wish him the best. He is a good guy and coach.
