I was despondent after 2007 with the textbook (non)issue and the terrible record.
I wondered if Bama football was too far gone to get back. After seeing the 2008-2013 run he earned tons of respect. If he wants to leave there would be no hard feelings here, Bama is in much better shape than jan 2007 when he got here.

The easiest way to dispel a rumor is to show facts that say otherwise. Show me facts of UT talking to or asking permission to talk to other coaches. Could all these flights be UT flying around meeting other coaches agents away from their college towns? Sure, its possible, not likely at this point. Sabin is the only target they would have to go thru these great lengths for, as for as trying to not let it out.
Mack Brown is not coaching UT next year, I cannot imagine one person still believing differently... so show me anything, other than Sabin info, that points to another coach being the target.
HE BOUGHT A HOUSE IN AUSTIN!!!! WTF else do you need to know that he is considering the job? He has plenty of money, so if this situation falls thru, he can easily put it back on the market. But he sent his wife shopping there in advance for a reason.... if not, he would have made her wait another month to go thereshopping for homes..
BTW, didn't I read earlier this year he was dumping his huge mansion in AL?

Exactly. Someone could say those same things, but say what you wanna hear in regards to Saban, and they would be credible.

This is also your opinion. Nobody knows if this is correct or incorrect. Coaches have huge egos and think they can be successful anywhere. Considering that Bama has a pretty stacked roster, it wouldn't be that hard to be successful.
