LSU should NOT have to "Settle" for a HC

Tired of some of the weak arse mentality within our fan base. LSU is a top 5 job. WE SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO SETTLE!
If we want Herman or Jimbo, then it needs to happen. I refuse to set the bar low for Alleva and F. King and allow them to frick this up. We fired our HC weeks ago. Orgeron shouldn't have been even a serious candidate, so if they haven't been searching and putting numbers together for weeks now, then heads need to roll.
If we botch this hire, they need to be held accountable, and I won't accept "we didn't want to get into a bidding war" excuses.
Texas, I can understand but Oregon? Seriously
They were a bottom dweller before CK got there. Got some money from Nike, pulled some recruits from CA and TX but Jesus if we aren't more attractive than Oregon then we are in bad shape.
Texas, yes was once a powerhouse. However, you have TT, Bay, Hou, TCU, SMU, OKLA, LSU, and virtually every other school in the nation pulling recruits out of Texas. These other major programs can sell them playing time all day. Yes, with the right coach UT could still get the top recruits, but they'll always be fighting to keep depth on their roster due to all the other major programs that can pull recruits from them. Yes, they have money but Texas is not the job it once was. In-state competition, along with all the politics and the general shite-show that is UT football right now. No coach wants to go to that. Hell, Saban turned 10 mil a year down.

The only reason those other schools in Texas are pulling recruits from Texas has been because of the past 8 years, you turn that around and once again pulling recruits in Texas away from UT will be impossible again. It is truly that simple and with the right coach they will again be on top.

Oregon is a very attractive job when they're offering to make you the highest paid coach in college football. LINK
LSU is going to do everything within its power to get Fisher. It jus remains to be seen whether Fisher wants to make the jump, or is just using LSU as leverage at FSU.
