The Staff was complacent and stale.
New blood equals new energy and higher expectations from the players and Staff.
Keep everyone guessing Coach Kelly, it makes the competition nervous.
The Portal will be good to us.

New hires with a clear vision and plan to make much needed improvements to a program that was obviously left in a state of dissary. I question how soon OC and DC announcements will be made,though. What are you going to do with Daronte Jones and Jake Peetz with the bowl game to be played? "Here's your pink slip, but I need you go prep and coach this bowl game before cleaning out your desks"...
Possible some of these hires could come later rather than sooner.

Jones and Peetz are supposed to be professional and they are being paid.
Do the expected job. Don't set a bad example for your future endeavors.

On top of being paid to do so, I would think a refusal to perform their duties as coaches would give LSU grounds to fire them with cause. Not only would they lose any potential buyout, but that would look terrible to future employers.

I have a feeling we'll love the upcoming Coord changes as well. When might annoucements happen if the next DC/OC are both coordinating playoff teams?
