That pretty much describes him.

Are people really trashing Michigan's historical successes in this thread? Bunch of imbeciles

Yes, I am. I've stated before that I'm a Michigan football fan, but I root for LSU in other sports.

I seriously doubt that you live in Michigan
I never said I did. My dad is from Michigan and went there.

I've been multiple times. Most of my family still lives out there.

Michiganders that I know tend to express themselves in a better fashion.
You obviously haven't spent much time out there then.

Like I said before, after he was exposed during the Ole Miss game for the clock management fiasco, a lot of Michigan fans lost interest. Not to mention his atrocious offense, and the fact that he's content on playing Jefferson, even though he's one of the worst QB's in the SEC.
We had one of the best offenses in the country from 2005-2007 under Les. It has more to do with Crowton's inabilities to develop a QB more than Les.
Les' offenses at OSU were pretty damn good too. Les is dependent on his coordinators. If he his hired at UM and hires a top notch DC and say Whipple (former Miami OC) for offense, UM will be insanely good with his ability to recruit.
In 2005-2006 under Fisher, we had very few coaching gaffes. In 2007, we had some, but it wasn't horrible. Since Crowton coached QBs have taken over, the Gaffes have been there.
It's much more on him than Les lately. People need to understand that.
The mistake in Ole Miss was taking the timeout too late and not expecting to be 5 yards short of the endzone.
1) That was supposed to be a hailmary pass to the EZ. You have no expectation for the play to work 5 yards short and give you an opportunity.
2) The scoreboard supposedly still showed LSU with 1 timeout left. That confused Les (it happens).
3) Extra time (1-2 seconds) was run off the clock leaving it at 1 second. This may not have changed things, but again, it happens.
I am no Les fan, and you can check my records on that, but some of these gaffes simply aren't on him. They are more on Crowton and his poor play calling.

I assume you're talking about me, but I didn't trash Michigan's historical success. I said that they are not in a position to be picky at this point...and they're not. They should've been pickier last time.

Then why not fire him?

He went 10-2 without a QB.

What's being reported on UM boards?
Is RR fired or not?

Chris Balas just made a post a little while ago saying that Harbaugh has not ruled out going to Michigan, according to sources, contrary to what has been reported today.
And that it's no surprise that Les Miles name isn't being mentioned because he was told Miles wouldn't get a shot at the job. And that Les hasn't heard anything from Michigan folk.
Also, Hoke is #2 if Harbaugh doesn't accept UM offers.
And that Stanford is trying to get him to stay and are preparing an offer of 4 million/year to getting him to stay.

Les owes him for the NC, and is trying to be loyal. It is a fault that he has at times.
I think Les is a good coach, but like any other coach, is limited by his coordinators. If given the UM job, I am pretty sure he'd do everything in his power to make sure his OC and DC fit what he wants and what would work best at UM.
I simply don't think Hoke would be a good hire at all. If they hire him, they'll be rebuilding for some time and Hoke has yet to prove on a big stage that he can even win consistently. He's had 3 winning seasons in 8 years as a head coach with one of those being 7-6.

Who made the decision to give JJ and Lee schollys? Who developed these 2 QBs? Still waiting for an answer. If they aren't good enough to play QB in the SEC that blame falls squarely at Les Miles feet.

A number of schools were offering these two. The fact they haven't panned out is unfortunate, and the fact they haven't been developed is probably more GC's fault than Miles' fault.
Plenty of highly rated QB recruits never pan out. You are just focused on LSU's.

Well, until there's competent QB play from HIS recruit, it will continue to be a burning question
ETA: he had it briefly with RP

RP was fairly competent in his 2 starts, and he was a Miles recruit. Not the best example maybe, but I still think the QB play is more the responsibility of the OC/QB coach than it is the head coach.
