Lane Kiffin has been getting a lot of negative PR from the possible move to LSU. I wanted Lane Kiffin when they hired BK, and hope he chooses LSU.
The issue is, Ole Miss is 11-1. That's hard to walk away from. If Ole Miss were 10-2, no one would give a shite. Lane can stay at Ole Miss and endout the season however that is, and then he can still leave and take a NFL job. That ends all the bad press that he's been getting.

Saban was absolutely shredded for the entire offseason after his “not going to be the coach at Alabama” flip.
Heard very little about it once the season started and completely forgotten when they really started winning.
That’s why every coach these days says the same boring canned talking points when these searches come up. No one outside of Oxford and troll fans from other schools will care about this next fall.
Sure when other jobs come open his name will get brought up, just like Saban’s did for years, but outside of maybe Bama and UT it won’t even be a legitimate concern.
Lane isn’t leaving Baton Rouge to replace Dabo at Clemson
