As all those top ten salaried coaches get raises to keep up with the bar Saban has set, Miles will get his also.

Miles' leverage not equal to Saban's leverage.

It is my opinion that Miles' contract will not be touched without an SECC or playoff appearance.

The administration would let him walk, and I really don't see that happening either. The big players would not touch his buyout at his age, and maybe even for other reasons.

I really feel both sides are content and satisfied, even without communication.

2. Orangebloods

While he was supporting Alabama players receiving awards and trying to deal with day-to-day life, Saban also apparently had time to play a real-life version of The SIMS with a mock would-be staff at Texas, per Yahoo Sports radio host and Texas fan-site orangebloods.com owner Geoff Ketchum.

Think he's about to on Moscona (sp)

Arnsparger left LSU to become the athletic director at Florida, and Saban left to go to the NFL.

Thanks for the clarification.

Any other pertinent parameters. Planet, above ground, sexual reproduction?

Why would it matter what the job is?

7. The guy who paged Saban at the Texas airport

Man, if this doesn't make you want to think of a good prank. A guy got an oblivious airport employee to page Nick Saban over the airport loudspeakers in Austin, Texas. Twitter blew up, even though Saban was in Ohio, recruiting for Alabama.

my favorite highlight of the entire damn thing

Total and complete bullshite! For the most part, LSU fans respect the man as a coach and what he did at LSU. On the other hand, they hate his midget arse for how he left them and the fact that until this event, he has proven to not be a man of his word. Its the classic "Woman Scorned" theory...

He's still not a man of his word. If he would have found a better deal in Texas, he'd be gone. Even the most rabid Bama fans know that. Just look for all of the quotes professing his Tiger love as he decided to leave for Miami. Now he bleeds Crimson? It's only a physiologic coincidence. He's all about Saban.

Bama fans love to believe we're still butthurt about Saban leaving. However, the majority of Tiger fans are pretty happy where we are. I for one would not want Saban as our coach, even as an equal trade. We just hate losing to you guys, and although Bama has won when it counts more, it's not been by much. The gap between our programs is much less than the record. LSU won the SEC championship the year Bama won the NC. It's college ball. Teams have up and down games.

Although I must admit the Bama meltdown would have been entertaining, the Texas meltdown didn't disappoint. I for one am looking forward to going toe to toe with Bama year in and year out. If we win, it will be more satisfying with Saban there rather than kicking a down program. I like our chances. Regardless, all of this has intensified the rivalries even more. It's going to be fun.
