Its not all about the money....

I really don't think money is playing as much in the process this time-I think the man loves his school and is thinking its time to go home. You can't buy emotion when it comes to that.

If I had coached Michigan for the last 6 years and LSU came calling, playing the damn fight song, I'd be hard-pressed not to go back home.
HOWEVER: Miles seems like a man of integrity to me - even though I've wanted to kill him every 3rd Saturday the last couple of years. His family/kids etc. will likely play a part in his decision.
I sure as hell hope he stays! I think he's GREAT for our school. There are surely better football minds - but be careful what you wish for. Rich Rodriguez was considered the 2nd coming of Jesus just a few years ago.
I wish him well either way. I hope he stays here. Fans give him hell here, but for that kinda' money he's going to hear it anywhere unless he goes 12-0 every year, wins every game by 20, and gets all freshman 4 and 5 star recruits several touches each game.
(Think about how well a football program is doing if one of the fan's complaints is that the recent 5 star recruits aren't getting enough touches. I mean, think about it it. We have 4 and 5 stars to spare.)

If Bo Schembechler was still alive, you know he would walk in, put his hand on Les' shoulder and say, "Les, it's time to come home son." That's the way Dean Smith did it when North Carolina stole Roy Williams away from Kansas.

Bo Schembechler played for Miami U and No one came in and told him that. That would be pretty damn selfish of Bo to do that with what Les has put together here IMO.

I don't understand why people keep saying this, as if to imply that if he left LSU he's NOT a man of integrity.
