Somebody I trust very highly is saying Jimbo was offered a shite ton of money. But no confirmation of it was accepted. But we’re talking way more than his current contract.

Great recruiter. Solid QB developer. Average offensive mind when compared to his contemporaries.
You realize that LSU is out scoring A&M this season.
Last year, with a train wreck of a season.. they only averaged .6 more points per game.
He has never had a top 3 offense in the SEC. Never produced a 1000 yard receiver. Never had a double digit win total in the SEC. Hasn’t won a conference since 2014.
The game of college football has passed him by and that’s why he will never win another Natty. His offense is clunky and lacks imagination.
You want to give him a job based on what he did 8 years ago, that’s crazy talk. We live in a different college football world. He is too arrogant to change his offense.
Every coach that has won the Natty since 2013 runs the spread. Every. Single. One. That’s no accident.
Let Jimbo keep losing 3 games a year at A&M. He will beat us on a recruit from time to time, but while LSU is fighting Bama for rings.. He will at the media desk talking to the Game Day Crew on Championship night.

Jimbo was offered 12.5 million. That’s all I know. Woody wants him. We’ll know soon if it happens. I would have no way of knowing if it was already accepted or not. Not everyone knows everything at every given moment. You just get pieces. Believe what you want.
