Its all good and fine we are blasting DP and O, but bottom line

is that one man was responsible for hiring O, and that's Joe Alleva. DP's job was to assist O, promote O, give O advice. O was smart in bringing someone in who had the pulse of the fanbase and knew what would make O look better in the eyes of public perception. Can't fault either of them for doing their jobs.

Conspiracy theories aside, if the coaching search was real and if we didn't have a "take my ball and go home" AD, we would have had a real coach hired.

My point is, don't misdirect your anger at DP and the coaching staff. They did their jobs, marketed their campaign and somehow won the coaching job. Instead, focus your discontent toward our AD and President who would rather make emotional hires than intellectual ones.
