Coach O for strength and conditioning.

If Moffett turned down Saban I can't imagine him going to Tenn.

He's from Tennessee, but Moffitt, as well as his family, is very happy at LSU.

So which is it? Tennessee or New Orleans? That's kind of a big difference.

His wife is definitely John Curtis/New Orleans. I am 90% sure he is too. He started his coaching career there.

Edit: He is from Tennessee, but his wife is New Orleans area.

LSU should do everything possible to hold on to Tommy Moffitt.

they have, and he's not going anywhere. His contract is with the University, not the football program.

I'm curious why Kiffen would want to add 20 lbs to all of his players slowing them down to the point where they can't rush the QB.

Our problem is not S&C. In fact, it's one of the few bright spots on the team.

Tyson Jackson tried to disagree but was too musclebound to be able to do anything of the sort.

We might ought to let him go and get a new guy in there. He is very good, but their are alot of very good trainers. Might be good to get some new ideas in there at least.

Typically, I would prefer to see LSU being proactive and trying to make aggressive coaching changes and moves. Hiring the most qualified and energized coaches and people to work in the program. That is how LSU got to be a successful program, and that hiring mentality should be applied to all parts of the program IMHO.

If you are seriously implying thatTommy Moffit needs to be lumped into this fire all the coaches mess then you are increadibly ignorant to the the fact that we have one of the biggest gems in college sports. Moffit is a student of Gayle Hatch who is a former olympic power lifting coach. He one of the most revolutionar SandC coaches due to the fact that he has implied the cling jerk and snatch as a major part of all of his work out regiments. The play of the football team is not due to the fact that the players are not well conditioned, I can assure you that. You have to look at all the teams and programs that try to get moffit year in and year out and are only left settling with one of his assistant coaches. You also have to look beyond football. Last years baseball team may have been his best work yet. He took a bunch of freshmen and underachieving upperclassmen and brought back a glimmer of gorrilla ball. Also look at this years basketball team since this is the first year he has them back(Brady used Hatch alone), it will be good proof that Moffit has an impact on every team he gets his hands on. They will finish games this year. Maybe it sounds like I have some weird mancrush on the dude but if you ask any athlete at LSU how they feel, it will be the same. If tyson has a problem with gaining 20 pounds then maybe he should shave the Thirty pounds of dreads of his head and start worrying about playing well in the bowl game. It is his last cance to prove to us that HE is not the disappointmemt and is capable of having an NFL carreer. (By the way, he better learn how to play big because the NFL will want him bigger)

I said the guy was good. If he wants to go somewhere else he should. I am just saying it might be in everyone's best interest if a change was made.
