I get the feeling that they'd be looking in a slightly different pool of candidates than LSU. There would be some overlap, but I doubt they'd go for Lane due to the timing. Could see them going for Dillingham. I'm sure the Texas faithful have some respect for Dilly after ASU nearly ended their season in the playoffs a year ago.

I'd go hard after Campbell if I was them. I wanted LSU to look at him but I'm not sure anyone can realistically move him. He's a really good coach but I do wonder how he'd fit in with Texas culture.
I have no idea if he was on LSU's list but he should've been 1b alongside 1a Kiffin.
