I hope we don't penny pinch and settle. I would prefer a short term contract due to the circumstances. It's not like they would have to rebuild, so there is no need for a "rebuilding season". My biggest fear for the program is signing a long term deal (3+ years) with the wrong guy.
I'd be happy paying a lot for 1-2 seasons.

I'm sure recruits LOVE knowing this guy sitting im my living room trying to convince me to play football for him is making bank for only 2 years and then......... who knows if he'll be around for a third

True... At least don't give a huge buyout in the contract
