So the AD who was at Duke during the lacrosse rape scandal (that turned out not to be true) is going to hire a coach who is accused of allowing a culture of rape? I don't see that happening, even if he is cleared...

That's a big 'if' in that title.
Doesn't matter. Plenty of coaches out there with as good of resumes as Briles who are younger, better ties to LA, etc. and won't bring a bunch of picket lines to BR.
Briles is the fallback candidate after Jimbo, Tom, Chip, and about a half dozen others.
